Happy New Years!

What a great year this has been (For the most part)!

I've became a Mom for the third time!  With the help of my WONDERFUL doctor I had my 2nd succesful induced VBAC (w/out pain meds b/c of the super speedy delivery) which I was told after I had my first I'd never be able to have a regular delivery - WRONG!  I never liked that Drs office anyways, lol.

My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary!

My daughter, Abigail, started preschool and is doing wonderfully!  Her teachers gave her the award for being the "Most Glamourous" and constantly talk about how smart she is.

Jacob is excelling in math.  We went from being held back, behind, and constantly in trouble in school and transferred him when we moved and now he is doing GREAT!  His teacher figured him out and knows how to work with him.  It's truly amazing the difference one person can make.

Liliana has been flying through her firsts!  She's now standing up on everything and before I know it she'll be one.  :(   Now if only the little lady would start eating baby food we'd be all good!

That's about it for now!  I just wanted to say a few of my favorite things from this year.  It's hard to believe another year has passed.  Time flies when your having fun they say!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years!

Happy Late Christmas and Happy New Year!

With all the fun and snow yesterday I completely forgot to say Merry Christmas to everyone!

Better late than never, huh?

Anyways, we had a great Christmas here!  We had the first White Christmas since 1947 where we live!  My parent's flew out to Nebraska for the holidays and my Mom was shocked that the only year she hasn't been here for Christmas is the one it snows on, lol.  It's cold out there in Nebraska, but no snow as of yet for them!  We got about 4 inches here and the kids went outside and made Snowballs, etc for a while and came in for some Hot Chocolate!

I hope everyone had a very good holiday and has a Happy New Year!  The hubby and I are celebrating tonight since he works.  He's a Supervisor in Security so he doesn't get holidays or special days off.  I think the only Holiday he hasn't worked is Halloween and because it fell on a Sunday, lol.  He had my 6 year old in amazement when he told him he 'guarded Santa's sleigh' on Christmas Eve while he put presents in the houses of the area he works in though.

Soo, off to get the kids ready for bed and hopefully by the time they are asleep we can open up a nice glass of Champagne and watch a movie or something!

Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe New Years!

And yes, Abby is STILL rocking her hat that I ordered from While You Sleep, I CrochetShe wears it almost everyday, lol.

Woohoo .. LOVING my Beco!

OK, so I won the Beco Baby Gemini not very long ago and didn't expect it to come before Christmas.  Much to my surprise here was UPS ringing my doorbell this afternoon with my Beco!  Woohoo.  I was about to head out the door so out of the box and into my car it went!

Liliana and I braved some last minute Christmas shopping for a few groceries and things I needed for tomorrow morning.  Got her out of the car and into the Beco and she happily went along for the ride.  No people in her face (she has stranger anxiety and cries when people get close to her) and she was happy as a clam the entire time we were out!

Thank you sooooooo much Sugar Pop Ribbons and Beco Baby!  I think this has definately became my favorite carrier which is something because I sure do love the Ergo!  The color/print on this carrier is GORGEOUS!  I have a custom diaper bag in the works hopefully soon and hoping to get the same fabric!

Many Thanks!

A bit of bragging

Just wanted to share a few pictures of my Liliana that I've taken recently.

Lily loves her Sophie.  Many people say she's overpriced for a teether but it is truly my daughter's favorite toy and worth every penny.  :)

Ahhh Payday Friday!!!

Payday Friday has to be one of my most favorite days ever!

I always seem to accumulate some tabs over at my favorite Facebook pages through the course of 2 weeks and today I get to pay em off so I can get them mailed!!!

This week I've got some Jewelry from Tucker's Trinkets and Treasures - A GORGEOUS Mommy and Me set of bracelets and some orange earrings for my sister as a present for letting my husband and I have a date night!

Beautiful hairbows and a crochet hat from Geneva Diva which are going straight into the Christmas gifts.

Oh, and my Sock Monkey hat was done (Super quick might I add) this week also!!  That one I am absolutely thrilled to get.  I got it for Abby who just lost her favorite one to a roller coaster at Carowinds.  Anyways here's the picture of the hat she made for Abby .. I cannot wait to get it!!  This one probably won't end up being a Christmas gift.  While You Sleep, I Crochet does awesome work.  Definately worth the wait.

I am going to be stalking my mailbox this upcoming week!!

A little about my family

Since I am a newbie to the blogger world I figure I'd make a post to tell a little about myself to you guys.

My name is Jessica.  I am 26 years old and live in North Carolina.  I am a Stay at Home Mom of 3 kids.  I enjoy browsing the internet, forums, and just basically anything really.  I LOVE cooking.  I used to hate it (and actually be pretty bad at it too) but I have grown to love cooking now.  I'm more of a baker you could say then a cook-cook but hey, I try!  I also LOVE doing hair.  I am incredibly horrible when it comes to doing my own but can do others in a heartbeat.  I cannot wait til the girls get long enough hair to play around with!!

My husband's name is Vance.  We have been married over 5 years now, but together 8.  He is my rock.  We've had our ups and downs like most couples but somehow work through it.  He was in the Navy for a while and did a deployment overseas while I was pregnant with our middle child, Abigail.  That was HARD!!!  He's a fitness enthusiast and loves anything having to do with working out, running, nutrition, or fitness in general.  He's also got a lazy side to him.  He's a gamer nerd, but I wouldn't have him any other way.

Jacob is my 6 year old.  He is a very bright little man and always as sweet as can be.  He loves anything Army related, Tractors, video games, or computers.  He has a special site online that was recommended to us by his teacher and he plays that daily.  He is in Kindergarten this year and doing great!  He has also found a new love for BabyLegs.  I have been getting them for my daughters for months and now he has decided he MUST have them to use as armwarmers.

Abigail is my 3 year old.  Boy oh boy is she something else.  She is my difficult child.  GREAT and POLITE as can be in Preschool, but whew .. at home is a whole nother story.  She wakes up early everyday (seriously this girl is up by 7am) and doesn't stop until bedtime.  I call her my Darediva.  She likes to do everything that her brother does or really just anything she can think of.  Most recently she had a black eye from jumping off our porch steps and missing the bottom.  Yeah .. That is not fun to explain to people.  It happened the DAY BEFORE her preschool pictures also.  So every picture and class picture all you see is her pretty little face with a big black eye.  Aye yi yi Abby.

Liliana is my newest and final addition.  She is just 7 months old and I absolutely love her to pieces.  She is my hardest to deal with at times though because I can never do anything without her.  She will literally scream if I hand her to anyone else except myself or her Dad.  No going out for my husband and I for a while, lol.  Even my poor parents can't hold her (or sometimes talk) to her without her screaming.  It's even worse when I'm out and about running errands and everyone tries to talk to her.  She ends up screaming because of strangers and I end up taking twice as long.  Still love her though and I know like Abby she'll grow out of it.  Just takes time.  She loves her Sophie, BabyLegs, and Daddy's XBOX controller.  She hates baths, strangers, and naptime.  ;)

Well thats about it for now.  I'm going to look around more in the morning and figure out how this whole blogging thing works and get some more followers!!!  Yay!
